Context

SemSpecialist is the project of Kamil Odołczyk, a freelancer with more than 15 years of experience in performance marketing. Not a typical agency, a solo business with a client portfolio that impresses: HBO, Limango, Neonet, Winiary, Leroy Merlin, LiveChat, Onet, Skąpiec.pl. More than 200 projects delivered.

There was an interesting dynamic here: I was building a site for a marketing expert. Kamil knows more about conversion and CRO than most of my clients combined. The brief was clear: I couldn't hand him anything amateur, because he'd spot it in 5 seconds.

Consulting and strategy

For companies that don't need execution but a strategic view of their marketing activity.

Why the portfolio impresses

HBO, Limango, Neonet, Leroy Merlin, Onet, these are names from the client list. A freelancer serving clients like this isn't an average vendor off a Freelance.com listing. This is the top 1% of the performance marketing market in Poland.

The site has to communicate that, not by boasting, but with specifics: the client list, the project list, the skill list. Kamil doesn't need marketing ornamentation, his portfolio sells itself.

Freelancer versus agency

This is a conscious business decision by Kamil. Instead of building an agency with people, costs, and processes, he stays a freelancer. Benefits for the client:

 • Direct contact with the person actually doing the work
 • No layers of project managers and juniors
 • Flexibility in decision-making
 • Lower costs (no agency markup)

For a client looking for quality without bureaucracy, this is the ideal model.

Result

SemSpecialist got a site that matches his experience and the calibre of his portfolio. When a prospective client (likely a senior marketer or CMO) lands on this site, they see immediately: this isn't a random freelancer, this is a top-tier expert who knows what he's doing.

Strona wyszła świetnie – nowoczesna, szybka i przejrzysta. Jeśli ktoś szuka kogoś, kto zrobi to porządnie, to zdecydowanie polecam.
