The Polish Pharmaceutical Students' Association (PTSF) is a self-governing organisation bringing together pharmacy students and graduates from all over Poland. It is a member of the federation of European student organisations. PTSF runs conferences, training courses and educational projects, everything that helps future pharmacists grow before they enter the job market.
A student organisation's website has to do two jobs: communicate with members and build trust among potential partners (universities, pharmaceutical companies, conference sponsors).
Scope of work
- Redesign: refreshing the previous version of the site
- WCAG implementation: compliance with digital accessibility requirements (important for an organisation operating in an academic environment)
- New content publishing system: sections for conferences, training, news
Why WCAG matters
PTSF operates in an academic environment where digital accessibility is not just good practice. It is a standard that universities and international partners expect. WCAG 2.1 AA compliance ensures the site is accessible to every user, regardless of their abilities.
What makes this project stand out
The PTSF site has to support regular publishing of events: conferences, congresses, workshops, training sessions. I designed the structure so the board can publish new content on its own without needing a developer. That matters in a student organisation where the board changes every year.
