Walim municipal website

Context

The Walim Municipality portal is a project built from scratch: visual design plus implementation on WordPress. The municipality is located in the Owl Mountains, in the so-called Land of Owl Mountain Mysteries, one of Lower Silesia's more interesting tourist regions, with attractions like Grodno Castle, the Walim Adits, and the MTB Bike Park.

Scope of work

• Visual design, a simple, modern look matched to the character of a tourist municipality
• WordPress implementation, full integration of the design with the CMS
• Technical support, for a year after launch I provided ongoing technical support for the portal

Result

The portal came out stable, aesthetic, and very convenient in day-to-day use. The municipality got a tool that's simple for the editorial team and readable for visitors, both residents and tourists looking for information about the region.

Client relationship

The collaboration went great, professional and polite contact at every stage of the project. For me, this project is an example of how work with a public-sector client should look: clear expectations, substantive conversations, and a shared pursuit of a good result.

I hope contact with Walim Municipality will be kept, and that we'll have the chance to work together again in the future.
